Dánae System’s Start up in San Pedro de Alcántara tunnel

After preliminary tests were completed in January 2016, , the start up of the Dánae System took place on February 1st. Implementation was finished in the San Pedro de Alcántara tunnel (Málaga) with the support and finance of Centro para el Desarrollo Industrial (CDTI) and the Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER).

Further tests are ongoing and potential clients are being contacted.

The system developed by Matinsa achieves remarkable reductions in electrical energy consumptions with no need to modify the current tunnel lighting infrastructure.
