In collaboration with the University of Alcalá de Henares, Matinsa will investigate ecological products alternative to traditional chemical herbicides.

According to its policy and enviromental compromise, Matinsa has signed a collaboration agreement with University of Alcalá de Henares, to investigate and develop an alternative herbicide wich replaces current glyphosates, due to its possible harmful effects for health. The wood vinager is a by-product of charcoal production process, and it will be the base of the study. We hope it´s the beginning for Research and Development projects with a broader scope.
