Castrum Album Electrificación J.V. , led by Matinsa, has started on January 7 the works corresponding to the contract of Maintenance of Airline, Substations and Stations of FGV Alicante signed with Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV).

The facilities whose maintenance is included in the contract are: 36.7 km. in sections of single track; 25.9 km. in sections of double track; 3 underground stations, 13 surface stations and 56 minor stops; 2 workshop buildings and garages; 12 traction substations; 18 technical rooms; 14 high-voltage lines; 58 km. of 2200 V line;  55 transformation centers; the maximum operating speed is 70-100 km/ h.; the maintenance base of the contract is located in Alicante.

The term of the contract is two years, extendable to a total duration of four years.

This contract represents an important milestone in Matinsa's goal to consolidate itself as a benchmark company in the maintenance of railway electrification facilities.
