The departments of Bridges, Building Structures and Civil Works Structures of FCC Co, are in charge of providing technical support to the works and to the Department of Studies and Proposals, both in the development of projects, and in advising on the construction processes within the scope of the typologies corresponding structural characteristics.

Its function is to advise the works and the department of studies and proposals in the architectural aspects of the building, including roofs, facades, divisions, waterproofing and insulation, unique prefabricated elements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Its function is to provide specialized technical support in works and studies of metallic, mixed and special structures, as well as mobile structures. It supports the definition of construction systems and the design of auxiliary elements, economic valuation, contracting and preparation of the quality control plan, as well as supporting the work in the construction and assembly phase.

The Geotechnics, Geology, Tunnels and Roads departments have resources to support the solution of the problems of the work and studies related to the soil, such as foundations, large earthworks, underground works, etc. It also optimizes the layout of corridors.

These departments have teams specialized in the design and execution of hydraulic and maritime works. They technically support the works and studies, in the design of the project and the construction procedures within their respective scope.

Responsible for the coordination of large projects and international studies with technical risks that require the participation of the different departments and services included in the General Sub-Directorate of Technical Services of FCC Co, as well as the engineering companies hired for this purpose.

Provides support, supervision and development in planning, coordinating the different planning technicians of the organization. Analyze and improve the process, adapting existing programs and procedures and promoting training in this area in coordination with the FCC Co. training department.

Responsible for technical assistance to works and studies in the field of construction materials, in particular materials from quarries, concrete, bituminous, etc., analyzing their origin and formulation. It also participates in RDI projects.
