Matinsa begins the conservation works of the AP-7 ring road in Alicante

Matinsa, started last July, the contract for the execution of diverse conservation and exploitation operations of the AP 7 Bypass road in Alicante.

SEITT has award Circumvalación Lucentum, a Joint Venture Matinsa 50 % - Audeca 50 %, for a period of three years, with a portfolio of €5.8 million and including a possible extension of two more years.

The subject of this contract is the conservation, maintenance and service assurance of the highway. Moreover, it includes operational support of the service and maintenance and conservation of the facilities and equipment included in the road.

The main stretch of the contract is the AP-7 Alicante Bypass toll road. This section connects El Campello with both the AP-7 Valencia-Alicante highway and the A-7 highway in Monfonte del Cid, bordering the metropolitan area of Alicante. The second longest stretch is the A-7 highway that runs between Elche and Crevillente, having the highest flow with an Average Daily Traffic of 65,000 veh/day.

The service includes two tunnels, Sant Antó tunnel and the Brotons tunnel with a length of 180 meters and 460 meters respectively. The Conservation Center is located next to the Toll Area of Monforte del Cid, situated on Highway AP-7.
