On October 2019, Matinsa has initiated the contract denominated: Emergency Works for the urgent repairs of the damage caused in infrastructures, rivers and riverbeds of the Segura River basin Authority in Murcia and Almeria as a consequence of the rain episode occurred from 12th to 15th of September of 2019 in the Segura basin.

The works will be conducted from 2019 to 2020 with a value of 902,916.67 € for Murcia province and 451,458.33 € for Almeria province.

The purpose of the contract is the restitution of the data catchment and control points that have become inoperative and decommissioned in the different networks of the Segura Riven Basin: S.A.I.H, S.A.I.H. Postrasvase, S.A.I.C.A. and S.I.C.A. It compromises civil works, bearing structures, control points sheds, energy supply systems, instrumentation and sensors, as well as the restoration of the IT and communications systems.
